Eaton Farms' Pennsylvania Pride brand nursery stock is sold exclusively from the Northeast to Mid-Atlantic States by garden centers that are hand selected for their ability to provide excellent guidance and plant care experience to the consumer. Pennsylvania Pride brand superior trees and shrubs are only sold to these Preferred Garden Centers who support the product, and won't be found in typical mass merchandise stores.
The Original 3-Year Homeowner Guarantee, a unique concept in the nursery industry, was created by Eaton Farms to give consumers the assurance that what they take the time and effort to plant has been grown with care.
All plants are grown in burgundy colored, returnable containers, and are labeled with full-color, informative tags that provide simple-to-read instructions on the care of each variety of plant. Eaton Farms has led the industry in this area and continues to set the highest standards for labeling and presentation of our product.
Eaton Farms was established and co-founded in 1988, by Larry and Teresa Eaton, their son Don Eaton, and his wife, Kathy. Since that time, the company has increased its production facilities from 28 acres to 208 acres producing top quality nursery products with a core group of key employees dedicated to providing first class customer service.
Eaton Farms supplies nearly 400 varieties of trees and shrubs to independent garden centers along the East Coast, including "Garden Center Trees," topiary products, vines, flowering shrubs, evergreen shrubs, and woody ornamentals.
The force behind Eaton Farms and the Pennsylvania Pride brand is Donald Eaton. Having been educated in horticulture, and with substantial experience gained from working at large production nurseries in New England, New York and Tennessee, Don possessed an extensive knowledge of the nursery industry that enabled him to select an excellent location for the nursery. Due to his knowledge of the industry and in-depth research, Don was well aware that eastern Pennsylvania not only had the most favorable growing climate, but was also the central core of the areas that he wanted to market to.
Production facilities include more than 200 over-wintering hoop houses that provide crop protection, numerous growing pads, 11 heated greenhouses used for propagation and liner production, and offices and production employee areas that are located in a main warehouse that encompasses approximately 6000 square feet.
Eaton Farms takes pride in being one of the most innovative leaders of the green goods industry. Not only have we introduced product branding and programs like the "3-Year Homeowner Guarantee" to the industry but we have also set and met the highest standards of customer service.
